Intensive/Distance-Friendly Courses

These courses are offered on the Case Western Reserve University campus from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. for three-to-six consecutive days, depending on the course. This format offers the same contact hours, depth of content, and learning opportunities as the standard format while allowing nurses to continue their education with few trips to campus.

Course syllabi are available approximately one month in advance so that required readings can be completed before the class begins. Major papers are due during the semester after the intensive class has ended. Specific due dates are set by course faculty. The courses below listed as "web-based" can be completed from a distance with limited on-campus time.

In the Post-MSN DNP program, NUND 611, 619, and 620 do not have scheduled sessions. They are arranged in collaboration with the advisor and, for NUND 611, with the preceptor.
