See What Cleveland Has to Offer - Free for CWRU Students
As a Case Western Reserve student, you can enjoy many of the cultural, scientific and educational attractions that are located near campus for free. The Office of Student Affairs provides students with free access to many of the area's most interesting museums and cultural institutions.
An excursion to any of the places listed below supplement your coursework, broaden your mind and challenge your ideas. So take a break and take the time to experience all the area has to offer. The institutions are within walking distance of campus and many are located near bus lines and the RTA Rapid Transit line.
The Free Access program allows students to visit each of these museums one time per week with a valid student ID. Please note that the week begins on Sunday and ends on Saturday.
Be sure to check the museum websites and plan your visits ahead of time, as hours and visitor requirements may change due to COVID-19.
- Cleveland Botanical Garden
Instructions: Call 216.721.1600 ahead of time and speak with a Guest Service team member to reserve a spot. Mention that you are a CWRU student and would like to make a reservation with your CWRU ID. - Cleveland Museum of Art
- Cleveland Museum of Natural History
Instructions: Call the museum at 216.231.4600 and choose option 8 when prompted to reserve a ticket, then bring your valid CWRU ID to present at the check-in desk. - Western Reserve Historical Society
Instructions: Reserve a "WRHS Guest Pass" ticket for date and time in advance. Bring your valid CWRU ID and swipe it upon arrival. - Dittrick Museum of Medical History

CWRU students can also enter to win free Cleveland Orchestra tickets courtesy of the Office of Student Affairs.
