The CTSC Pilot Grant Program is a peer-reviewed pilot funding program designed to stimulate and promote new translational research, new research collaborations, and novel research ideas applicable across a range of diseases. The goal of this funding is to promote innovative research teams capable of interacting across institutions, schools, and disciplines to generate novel ideas and data on translational research projects. To this end, the program offers a variety of funding opportunities to researchers from the CTSC partner institutions: Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland Clinic, MetroHealth Medical Center, University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center, Northeast Ohio Medical University (NEOMED), the University of Toledo, and the VA Northeast Ohio Healthcare System.

Clinical and Translational Science (CTS) Research Program

The CTS Research Program: Pilots funded up to $175,000 per year for 2-3 years focused on promoting health and reducing chronic disease through innovative use of technology.

Annual Pilots: Pilots funded up to $50,000 for 12 months that foster new clinical and translational research to address urgent questions or to develop preliminary data.
