Mental Health Awareness Fair
Fresh Check Day will be back on September 12, 2025. We had a great time this year and hope you can join us again this fall.
Fresh Check Day is a program created by the Jordan Porco Foundation. The program is meant to highlight mental health promotion and suicide prevention on college campuses. The event includes interactive booths, peer-to-peer messaging, and support from campus departments and student groups. There will be free food, music, and fun prize giveaways for participants who visit at least five booths and hand in a bingo card. The Jordan Porco Foundation states that Fresh Check Day is intended to create an approachable and hopeful atmosphere where students are encouraged to discuss mental health. The intention is to build a bridge between students and mental health resources available on campus and in the community.
Registration will be available for students soon, please check back for a link to register.
Get Involved
Fresh Check Day is intended to be a collaborative event. If your student group or campus department would like to co-host a table next year, please check back in the spring for updated information on how to get involved.
We are looking for volunteers. If you are interested in volunteering to support Fresh Check Day, please stay tuned. We will be recruiting volunteer towards the end of the summer.
