Who is eligible for the Tuition Exchange?

Tuition Exchange is available to first-time first-year, transfer and continuing students without a bachelor’s degree who meet the dependent child criteria defined in the Faculty/Staff Tuition Benefit requirements.

To maintain balance between exports (CWRU faculty and staff students) and imports (students coming to CWRU with a Tuition Exchange scholarship) as required by Tuition Exchange, CWRU sets a number each year who will be certified for export for the following Tuition Exchange year based on previous Tuition Exchange participation. For example, Certification for Tuition Exchange was limited to 40 students for the fall of 2017. Eligibility is determined based on the number of years, months and days of continuous, full-time, benefits-eligible service at CWRU.
