Navigating interpersonal conflict and communication breakdowns at work can be difficult—especially when you're trying to manage it alone. But you don’t have to. When employees come together with a shared intention to resolve their differences, open and respectful dialogue—supported by a trained mediator—can help repair relationships, prevent further disruption, and lay the foundation for future collaboration.
Don’t let conflict escalate. Reach out for support today.
One effective resource available to staff is Staff Conflict Mediation Services.
What Is Mediation?
Mediation is a structured process in which a neutral third party (the mediator) helps two individuals work through a dispute. Through guided conversation, the mediator fosters open communication, encourages perspective-sharing, and helps both parties reach mutually acceptable solutions.
Our Staff Conflict Mediation Services are:
- Private and confidential
- Voluntary in most cases
- Available to all staff employees
Under Ohio law, the content of a mediation is confidential. Only the names of individuals involved, meeting dates, and whether a resolution was reached may be disclosed.
