The Comprehensive Head and Neck Database is led by Dr. Chad Zender. Dr Zender is an Associate Professor and the Vice Chair of Clinical and Translational Research in the Department of Otolaryngology at the CWRU School of Medicine Department and the Director of Head and Neck Fellowship at the University Hospitals ENT Institute. He has dual appointment as an Associate Professor in the Department of Biological Sciences in the CWRU School of Dental Medicine.
General operations and scientific advisory responsibilities of the CHND are overseen by an Executive Steering Committee, comprised of the CHND Director and Associate Director, the Associate Dean of Research for the CWRU School of Dental Medicine, and several research faculty and staff from various collaborating departments. Daily operations of the CHND are managed by smaller cores that function both independently and collaboratively to achieve the needs of the database.
