Partners on Development (PODs) are focused teams that engage with targeted audiences and Clinical Research Professionals at different stages their career pathways. These targeted audiences and CRPs include high school students, undergraduate students, community and rural health research personnel, existing clinical research support professionals, and investigators.
Workforce Development works alongside each POD leader to develop a Pipeline Network to address the many levels of targeted audiences who are essential for the development of a diverse CRP workforce.
POD leaders provide guidance and develop activities to support the Workforce Development Pipeline Network. PODs meet monthly to identify specific strengths and barriers related to potential or current CRPs and collectively ideate on solutions for recruitment, education, and retention specific to their stakeholders.
