By bringing together stakeholders and investigators, research projects have the potential for enhanced translation of research findings. A Stakeholder is an independent, engaged, individual or group who has a stake in the outcome, and whose input could greatly enhance the research endeavor. Stakeholders can include, but are not limited to, patients, disease advocacy groups, community residents, clinical providers, tech & industry partners, and policy makers.
