DNP Executive Format & Cohorts

Designed With You In Mind

The Frances Payne Bolton School of Nursing offers the post-master's DNP program in an executive format. Three of our courses are offered online, the others are taught on campus as five eight-hour day intensive classes during three sessions (January, May and August), or in off-site cohorts arranged in partnership with other institutions.

How Do I Join or Start in a Cohort?

A cohort is a group of 20 students who start the DNP program at the same time. Depending on state requirements, four courses are taught at the cohort site, and the remaining courses are provided on-line or in the intensive sessions on the Case Western Reserve University campus in Cleveland, Ohio. Implementation of NUND 619 and 620 is arranged with the advisor and NUND 611 is arranged with the advisor and preceptor/s. These courses do not have formal class sessions.

Cohorts have been launched in partnership with a number of academic institutions and hospitals. Please contact the Recruitment and Enrollment for a list of in-progress cohorts: admissionsfpb@case.edu.
