RADAR Training: Proposal Submission Best Practices

Staff who are new to the university and responsible for submitting proposals should attend this event. During the one-hour webinar, they'll learn about:

1. Reading the Funding Opportunity Announcement and Determining Proposal Submission System: Review of parts of the FOA and identification of key components for department administrators
2. Overview of Proposal Submission Systems: List of proposal submission systems and when they are used; as well as how department administrators can assist PIs
3. How to complete SpartaGrants when using other systems: Required attachments; and how to complete the SpartaGrants budget
4. Identifying Agency Specific Guidelines for Proposal Submission: List of resources for identifying agency specific guidelines for font, spacing, etc.
5. Proposal Sections for NIH, NSF, and DOD: List of resources for learning about specific attachments and sections of proposals
6. Checklist for Department Review of Proposals Prior to Submission to PASA: Review of proposal review checklist
