Faculty Distinguished Research Awards

In 2013, Case Western Reserve University expanded its annual approach of honoring faculty achievements in teaching and mentoring via campus awards to include a recognition program for excellence in research. Called the Faculty Distinguished Research Awards, the program demonstrates the great value CWRU places on academic discovery.

Specifically, Faculty Distinguished Research Awards are presented to individuals who uphold and build upon the university’s history as an innovative, research-driven institution, and who establish national and international reputations for their research or creative projects.
