Intro to CWRU Cores on iLab
- iLab: iLab is a user-friendly tool for users to schedule time and services across CWRU’s core facilities, and set up billing. For core administrators and staff, iLab provides workflows to help deliver services, manage resources, complete billing and generate reports.
- Core: A shared research resource that offers access to instruments, technologies, services, consultation, and training to internal and external researchers for a set fee.
- Lab: An account within iLab for a group of users, who are supervised/managed by a Principal Investigator and/or Lab/Group Managers. In iLab, Labs/Groups are typically used as the primary way to organize access to Funds and manage financial approvals for purchases at Core Facilities.
See more key terms and additional information from iLab.
Principal Investigators with different funding sources can have multiple iLab accounts (examples below). For further clarification, please email cwrucores@case.edu.
