Intellectual Property
Successful university inventions create value through economic and societal utility and provide economic return to CWRU, including its faculty inventors, schools and departments. In fact, Case Western Reserve University shares 50% of the first $100,000 of net income, and 42.5% of all net income thereafter, to its creators—representing one of the most generous distribution policies in the United States.
