Christian P. Swol is the associate director of the Conflict of Interests Office at Case Western Reserve University. Christian has more than 10 years of experience in research administration. He started as an IT technician and then became an analyst/programmer during his first tour at CWRU, but he now focuses on reviewing and managing research-related conflicts of interest (COI). Working with investigators to navigate COI requirements is the core mission of the team.
Christian served as a past chair of the CWRU Staff Advisory Council. He is a current member of the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC).
Christian also has a background in nonprofit organizations and banking institutions. He has an extensive background interacting with many different types of software systems and is an effective communicator who is detail-oriented. He holds a master’s degree in business administration with a concentration in healthcare systems from CWRU’s Weatherhead and is a proud graduate of John Carroll University’s Boler School of Management.
