Christine Burke joined the Technology Transfer Office in April 2025 and works closely with researchers and campus translational programs to support new therapeutic technologies with early-stage business development and industry partnering that can move them forward along the regulatory and commercialization pathway and improve human health.

With over 20 years of entrepreneurial and commercialization experience, Christine has helped launch numerous university startups and commercialize invention portfolios, which included novel therapeutic compounds, biologics, medical devices, diagnostics, software, natural products, nanotechnologies, clean energy technologies and more. She was also a founding employee of a software and information services company. 

Christine has a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology from Yale University, was a postdoctoral fellow in immunology at University of California San Francisco, and has an MBA from the University of Texas at San Antonio.
