Frank Tedeschi is the Director of Core Services and Shared Resources in the School of Medicine at Case Western Reserve University (CWRU). He oversees the School of Medicine's shared research facilities and works closely with faculty, core directors, and school leadership to ensure investigators have access to the tools and expertise they need to move their science forward. His work focuses on strengthening operations, improving financial sustainability, and building a core infrastructure that can support a growing and evolving research programs.
Before stepping into this role, Dr. Tedeschi managed the Advanced RNA Profiling Core. His scientific background is in RNA biology, with particular expertise in translational and transcriptomic techniques such as ribosome profiling (Ribo-seq) and crosslinking immunoprecipitation (CLIP-seq). He has extensive experience developing and optimizing complex sequencing workflows, troubleshooting difficult samples, and partnering with investigators on experimental design and data interpretation. His work has supported research in translational regulation, ribosomal stress, and RNA–protein interactions.
Dr. Tedeschi earned his PhD in Biochemistry from CWRU in 2018, focusing on RNA biology, and completed his MBA at CWRU in 2024.
