Laura V. Altieri is the Executive Director of Sponsored Projects Operations, where she leads key initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the university’s sponsored projects administration. She brings extensive experience translating organizational strategies into day-to-day practice and guiding complex projects from ideation to fruition.
Throughout her career, Laura has led and grown grant-funded initiatives that align with strategic priorities, federal regulations, and funder guidelines. She rejoins Case Western Reserve University from Grants Plus, where she expanded the government grant writing division and provided grants management consulting services to up to 20 organizations annually. Previously, she advanced funded research at CWRU as Manager in the College of Arts and Sciences and as Proposal Developer at the Great Lakes Energy Institute. Laura earned her Master of Nonprofit Organizations (MNO) from Case Western Reserve University and holds a Bachelor of Arts in political science and history from Kent State University.
