Dr. Wolfe graduated from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine in 2011 and completed residency training for laboratory animal medicine at the University of Michigan in 2014. She then joined the faculty in the Department of Comparative Medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina. She completed board certification for the American College of Laboratory Animal Medicine in 2015. While at MUSC, Dr. Wolfe served as Assistant Director for Clinical Services. Her biggest achievement in this role was the implementation of the Rodent Standards of Care. These standards created an efficient process for treating common health issues in research mice and rats, while also minimizing variables from treatment differences between care personnel. In 2019, Dr. Wolfe was appointed as Chief of the Veterinary Medical Unit and Attending Veterinarian for the Ralph H. Johnson VA Health Care System. As Chief, she successfully led the program through two accreditation site visits achieving Full Accreditation during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Dr. Wolfe joined the Animal Resource Center at Case Western Reserve University in 2023. She continues to serve on national committees for the American Association for Laboratory Animal Science and the American College of Laboratory Animal Medicine. She is an active member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and licensed to practice veterinary medicine in Ohio.
