NIH limits PIs to six applications per year, issues guidance on AI use in research applications

The National Institutes of Health (NIH) instituted a new policy limiting the number of applications it will consider per principal investigator (PI) per calendar year. It also issued guidance to researchers about the appropriate use of artificial intelligence (AI) in its research application process.
