The Office of Sponsored Project Administration has been divided into two new offices:
- The Office of Post-Award Services and Compliance is now responsible for financial reports, project close-outs, invoicing, the approval of cost transfers, XTrain, etc.
- The Office of Pre-Award Services and Agreements is now responsible for proposal submissions and agreement execution for proposals outside the School of Medicine, the negotiation of specific agreements for CWRU and a large number of agreement types identified in the Contract Responsible Party Chart.
- To help faculty and research administrators know where to go to get help with negotiating agreements we have developed a Contract Responsible Party Chart. Please refer to this chart if you are not sure who should negotiate or help execute an agreement. This list includes all representatives from offices/units on campus who negotiate on behalf of the university.
