Functioning as a collaborative resource within the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering, CHiC’s primary mission is to bolster research efforts that demand chemical analysis, extending support to projects at CWRU and beyond. The facility boasts a range of instruments, with a strong emphasis on spectroscopy, while also providing additional capabilities like thermal gravimetric analysis, x-ray diffraction and imaging tools.
