Anya supports multiple grants and contracts focused on public safety response to individuals experiencing a mental health crisis. Her experience with data management, analysis, and visualization informs and supports the work of community partners in public safety, public health, and services along the crisis care continuum.
Before joining the Begun Center, Anya worked as a community-based Therapeutic Behavior Specialist serving adults with severe and persistent mental illness. In this position, she focused on providing behavioral health interventions to assist individuals with the development of daily living skills, advocacy and outreach, and crisis intervention.
Anya earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Case Western Reserve University and a Master of Science degree in Biostatistics from the Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine.
