Emma McCann is a new addition to the Begun Center passionate about helping health programs ensure that they are meeting the needs of their clients in the best way they are able to. Her past academic projects have focused on patient experience, most notably her project on transgender patients' experiences of healthcare. In previous positions, Emma has also performed research in the laboratory setting, working with the Center for Global Health and Diseases here at Case Western Reserve University. She is very pleased to begin utilizing her research experience in the field of social sciences and join an interdisciplinary team at the Begun Center.
