Eack, PhD, MSW, James and Noel Browne Endowed Chair at the University of Pittsburgh's School of Social Work. Eack is a leading national scholar on severe mental illness. He has generated over $20 million dollars in extramural funding and published more than 150 peer-reviewed articles. Implementing and Adapting Cognitive Enhancement Therapy (CET) for Schizophrenia and Related Conditions will review evidence surrounding the use of CET to promote recovery from schizophrenia and adaptations of the approach for adults with autism and related conditions. It will highlight neuroscience studies about the impact of CET on the brain, its neural mechanisms of action, and conclude with future directions to support greater community CET intervention implementation. Refreshments and light appetizers will be provided for all in-person attendees.
