Why did you choose to enroll at the Mandel School?

I was attracted to the dual degree MSW/MNO program and the Mandel School makes it easy to integrate both!

Where’s your favorite travel destination?

I visited Argentina and Chile a few months before the pandemic hit and they were both incredible. I hope to go back to South America again soon.

What’s up next on your reading list?

Celeste Ng is one of my favorite authors and I was so excited to find out she has a new novel, Our Missing Hearts, coming out in October. I can’t wait to read it.

What’s one local spot you recommend every out-of-towner check out?

We have an incredible Metroparks system all around the area with a lot of cool nature spots to see and explore. You can do a ton of activities, from hiking and biking to tobogganing and horseback riding.

If you could have one superpower, what would you choose?

I’ve always wanted to fly and see the world like a bird.

What’s your favorite thing about Case Western Reserve?

The professors I’ve had are all very supportive. I’ve learned so many incredible things in so many different areas of social work at the Mandel School!
