Applicants to our social work program (on-campus, intensive weekend and online) who have a Bachelor’s of Social Work degree are automatically considered for full Advanced Standing status.
Advanced Standing students can complete the program in one year on campus.
In general, your BSW must have been earned within the last seven years from a Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) accredited institution. Exceptions to this policy are considered on a case-by-case basis.
As an Advanced Standing applicant, you will be asked in the essay portion of the application to provide a description of your field education, including roles, responsibilities and key learning objectives.
