To Our Faculty:
I need to start with a thank you for all that you are doing to help us navigate and develop a new approach to fall semester. It has been challenging beyond recognition, but you continue to rise to the challenge by highlighting the thorny problems and issues, as well as providing creative and innovative solutions. You are very committed to your research and teaching, to your students, and to each other. This is what makes Case Western Reserve University special. Thank you for helping me, and each other, through a time none of us expected or wanted to confront.
As we continue to navigate the pandemic, there has been a request to better understand the options available to faculty who do not wish to return to campus this fall. Please find the final policy that was developed with the input of the Faculty Re-Entry Working Group.
If you have questions after reviewing, I encourage you to contact your respective dean’s offices, as per the protocol in the document.
