There are many resources available to you to ensure that you are successful while studying at Case Western Reserve University. Below are highlights of campus partner offices that offer services to veteran students.
Campus Ministry
CWRU Interreligious Council welcomes all students, faculty and staff to the CWRU community. The council includes representatives from United Protestant Campus Ministries, Intervarsity Christian Fellowship, Newman Catholic Campus Ministry, Muslim Student Association, Church of the Covenant and Hillel who value faith and spirituality as essential components of education. Students are invited to celebrate their faith and discover its depth and richness by connecting with others, engaging in service opportunities and growing in spirituality.
Career Center
The Career Center serves all CWRU students and alumni as a source for career assessment, career education and assistance with the job search. We play an active role in facilitating contact and relations among students, alumni and employers, as well as providing students and alumni with access to job opportunities.
The staff of the Career Center can help you translate your military experience into a civilian resume and can assist you with the federal jobs search. Feel free to make an appointment for help with building your resume or starting the job search.
Disability Resources
The Office of Disability Resources serves students with disabilities by creating and fostering an accessible learning environment. Disability Resources staff work to provide accommodations, such as exam modifications, extended time on examinations, rest periods, use of a reader or a scribe, permission to eat during an exam and arrangements to take exams at an alternative time.
Off Campus Student Lounge
The Off Campus Student Lounge, located within Thwing Center on the lower level of Hitchcock Hall, offers students who reside off campus a place to socialize and study. Just like home, the lounge is divided into a variety of living areas including a living room with TV and seating areas, a game room with table tennis and pool tables, a study room, and a kitchenette with a sink, microwave and refrigerator.
Student Wellness
The Student Wellness staff offers a variety of counseling and medical services to our CWRU students. CWRU is dedicated to promoting the physical, mental and emotional wellness of all its students.
