Anant Madabhushi, PhD
100 of the industry's trailblazers were recently named to The Pathologist's 2019 Power List following reader nominations and expert panel judging. This year's list includes Anant Madabhushi, PhD, Director of the Center for Computational Imaging and Personalized Diagnostics at Case Western Reserve University. His multidisciplinary work spans projects in quantitative image analysis, computer-aided diagnostics, pattern recognition and more. The findings have allowed for machine learning methods that better predict which lung cancer patients will benefit from chemotherapy. Madabhushi is also a member of the Case CCC's Cancer Imaging Program and Chair of the Planning Committee for this October's Artificial Intelligence in Oncology Symposium.
