Calaway is a board-certified, urologic oncologist and an aspiring surgeon-scientist. His clinical and research interests are in urologic oncology, specifically testis, bladder, and kidney cancer.  His research focus, given my epidemiology background, is in health services and outcomes-based research with an emphasis on risk factor modification, cancer disparities, early and more accurate diagnosis, and less morbid treatment. Calaway is currently an Assistant Professor of Urology in the Urology Institute/Department of Urology at Case Western Reserve University/University Hospitals.  He is the Division Chief of Urologic Oncology, Co-Lead for Genitourinary Cancers at Seidman Cancer Center, and the Co-Director of Robotic Surgery at Cleveland Medical Center.
