Aneesah Davis-Carothers joined the Case Comprehensive Cancer Center in July 2024. She brings a strong background in program development and implementation, relationship building, and diversity advocacy to her role as the Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. In this position, she works closely with the Associate Director for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion to implement long-term goals and objectives aimed at creating a culture of inclusive excellence.
Before joining Case CCC, Aneesah worked at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center from 2011 to 2024. During her time there, she honed various skills in healthcare administration, electroencephalography, clinical research, research education, social media marketing and management, workforce development, community outreach, and project management, with a focus on creating a more inclusive culture in clinical research.
Aneesah received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Bowling Green State University, a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Healthcare Management from Capella University, and a certification in Executive Leadership Development from the Case Western Reserve University Weatherhead School of Management.
