After receiving my Doctor of Engineering in Applied Biomedical and Chemical Engineering, I pursued various research endeavors within the musculoskeletal area that included bone biology/bone health, fracture repair, osteoporosis, and tissue engineering. At present, I am the core director for two of the Lerner Research Institute’s (LRI) Shared Laboratory Resources (SLR) facilities. My team and I work to integrate innovative imaging engineering research methodologies and strategies in the study of novel cancer biology and therapeutics research studies that will enhance and promote patient care.
