Research Information

Research Interests

Dr. DiFilippo's research is in nuclear medicine and molecular imaging instrumentation and data analysis (PET, SPECT, and multi-modality PET/CT, SPECT/CT, PET/MR), involving various clinical and research cancer applications.  One area of focus has been developing instrumentation for high-resolution PET and SPECT imaging of small animals for preclinical cancer research.  He has been a co-investigator in several clinical trials of new cancer imaging agents, including a collaboration between Case / UH / Cleveland Clinic (with Zhenghong Lee and Yogen Saunthararajah).
