Dr. Liang obtained the BS degree in Chemistry from the National Taiwan University and MS
in Applied Chemistry from the National Chiao Tung University in Taiwan. He moved to US to
continued his graduate studies in bioorganic chemistry at the Scripps Research Institute at La Jolla, CA and finished his postdoctoral training in Prof. Gerald Crabtree’s lab at the Stanford Medical School. He started his independent career at the University of New Mexico and moved to the Case Western Research University in 2018. His current research interests focus on applying chemical biology and synthetic chemistry strategies, including chemically induced proximity and CRISPR, to develop new technologies for applications in the areas of RNA regulation, epigenetics and cell therapies.

Research Interests
We are developing new tools and therapeutics for studying and treating cancers. The research directions including the development of new strategies to engineer T cells for cancer immunotherapies, new molecules to regulate oncomiRs and new tools for epigenome and epitranscriptome editing.
