Kate Bame

Kate Bame joined Case Western Reserve University in September 2023 and is responsible for the fundraising efforts of the Case Comprehensive Cancer Center. With 25 years of experience in fundraising, Kate spent 18 years at the University of Akron with primary responsibilities focused on major gift fundraising in the College of Business Administration. Most recently, Kate spent six years as the Director of Development at the Akron Zoo focusing on major gifts in support of large-scale capital projects, education programming, and conservation efforts.
