Research Information

Research Interests

My current research focus is in the area of cancer metabolism and the microbiome. I am exploring metabolism as a potential therapeutic target for chemosensitization in ovarian cancer and intend to study the effects of dietary modification on immune-mediated response and microbiome alterations/ tumor microenvironment in gynecologic cancers. I also conduct clinical research exploring surgical and disease-specific outcomes related to ovarian and endometrial cancer using population-based cohort and retrospecific institutional data.
