Dr. Mehdi Alilou is a research assistant professor in the Department of Biomedical Engineering. He is also faculty in the Center for Computational Imaging and Personalized Diagnostics.

Research Interests
Dr. Alilou's research focuses on applying computer vision and machine learning techniques for the automatic analysis of chest CT scans. The resulting technology aids radiologists and pathologists with automatic detection, quantification, diagnosis and treatment response prediction of lung cancer and other lung diseases.
