Research Interests
The focus of Dr. Anderson's research is on translational and innovative clinical trials and reduction of toxicity in clinical therapy. He is particularly interested in Ewing Family Tumors (EWS, DSRCT, clear cell sarcoma), osteosarcoma and neuroendocrine tumors.
Recently, Dr. Anderson has become a leading expert in the use of virtual visits to help coordinate better cancer care and to pre-screen patients for clinical trials. He is also very interested in mentoring younger oncologists to “think out of the box,” too!
