Research Interests

Dr. Wang’s research is focused on cancer prevention and survivorship research. In particular, Dr Wang studied environmental factors, such as dietary patterns, and lung cancer development especially among never smokers. Dr. Wang is also interested in combining low-dose computed tomography (LDCT) and blood-based biomarkers in improving lung cancer detection among the general population and cancer survivor population. In addition, Dr. Wang studies the health disparity, and social and health needs of the growing cancer survivor population, and designs effective interventions to improve their access to healthcare and quality of life.
