Taylor Brooks is a board-certified internal medicine physician and associate staff physician in the Department of Hematology and Oncology at the Cleveland Clinic Taussig Cancer Institute. His research background consists of work in cancer and viral immunology during his undergraduate years as well as in medical school, accumulating experience in processing primary human and mouse tissues and analyzing samples using cellular and molecular techniques. In residency, Brooks participated in human subjects research through conceiving and implementing a clinical trial of therapeutic drug monitoring for patients with gynecologic cancers treated with paclitaxel. As a fellow, he pursued lymphoma as a clinical subspecialty and a research focus. Brooks long-term goals are to become an expert clinician who provides the highest quality care for patients with lymphoma and an independent clinical researcher focusing on improving therapies and outcomes for people with these diseases.
