Ni is a computational biologist and molecular geneticist with a background in molecular genetics, genomics, and bioengineering, with specific training and expertise in translational clinical research design, bioinformatics analysis, and functional validation. Her research focuses on germline genetic predisposition of cancer syndrome, multi-omics molecular signature, and metabolic dysfunction in cancer and other diseases. Her unique training in both molecular genetics/genomics and bioinformatics provides her with strong research/analytic skills at both bench and computational levels. Ni's engineering background enables innovative research analytic development and implementation. In addition to all these experiences, she was trained in an extensively multidisciplinary environment where she collaborated with clinicians, genetic counselors, and basic scientists. As an assistant professor in the Center for Immunotherapy & Precision Immuno-Oncology (CITI), Ni has established collaborations with multiple clinical investigators on their genomics studies.
