Please join the Ohio Women's Alliance in partnership with the Reproductive Rights Law Initiative at Case Western Reserve University's School of Law for a webinar where we will cover the current legal attacks targeting Ohio's Reproductive Freedom Amendment (RFA). After providing information on the threats to the RFA, we will discuss how Ohio's newly formed Reproductive Justice Task Force can strategize together to defend the
reproductive rights and freedoms of all Ohioans.
Ainslee S. Johnson-Brown

Ainslee S. Johnson-Brown (she/her) is a Constitutional Law scholar and an Ohio native with a passion for localized policy and advocacy work. With a background in data analytics, strategy, and law, her trifecta of experience is bolstered by a desire to do the work where it counts. Ainslee has authored several peer-reviewed publications focused on reproductive justice, LGBTQ+ rights, and racial equity.
Margaret Light-Scotece
Staff Attorney and Lecturer, Reproductive Rights Law Initiative
Maggie Scotece, JD (she/they) is a Staff Attorney and Lecturer at RRLI with extensive experience in reproductive rights and litigation. She previously served as Interim Executive Director at the Abortion Fund of Ohio, where she launched the organization’s first Legal Access Program to address legal barriers and the criminalization of abortion seekers. She has also worked with Disability Rights Ohio, the Ohio Attorney General’s Office, and the Alaska Department of Law.
Maggie also brings a deep connection to disability justice to her legal work, including as a founding member of the Ohio Supported Decision Making Network. She earned a JD degree from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law and her Bachelor of Arts in International Studies and Italian Studies from Miami University.
