Patent Bar Eligibility Requirements
To sit for the USPTO patent bar—and to enroll in this program—you must have an undergraduate degree in one of the following areas:
- Engineering
- Computer science
- Physical sciences
- Biological sciences
- Design
These backgrounds ensure you have the technical foundation required for patent practice.
