The LLM program for U.S.-trained lawyers at Case Western Reserve University School of Law is customizable to help you specialize your expertise, shift to a new field, restart your career or augment your JD degree. We offer four options of focus in this program:
- U.S. and Global Legal Studies
- Intellectual Property Law
- International Business Law
- Criminal Justice and International Criminal Law
Application Process
To be considered for enrollment into the LLM for U.S.-trained lawyers, you must apply online.
Applications are reviewed in the order they’re completed and received and admission decisions are made on a rolling basis. Applicants are considered based on their academic background, professional experience, career goals and reasons for applying.
All applicants must submit the following when they apply online:
- Personal statement
- Resume or CV
- Official transcripts
- Two letters of recommendation
The LSAT and GRE are not required for admission to the LLM program.
Deadlines
Admission is available for both fall and spring semesters, with the following deadlines:
- Fall semester: April 1
- Spring semester: Oct. 15
