How You Can Partner with the CDO
Are you a CWRU law alum looking to give back to your alma mater? There are a variety of ways to get involved.
Join “Case Connections” to Share Career Advice with Students
Case Connections is an "opt-in" database of alumni who are willing to speak with current students about law practice, job search strategies, the legal market in their city or state, and other issues related to navigating the career path. We welcome alumni from all geographic locations into this network. To join the database, please email us at lawjobs@case.edu.
Serve as a Mock Interviewer
Each winter, the CDO hosts a Mock Interview Program, in which alumni and other practicing attorneys conduct virtual mock job interviews to help students practice their interviewing skills. We strive to include interviewers from all types of legal employment, including private practice, government, in-house counsel, and public interest. To learn more or sign up, please email us at lawjobs@case.edu.
Speak on a Panel
Throughout the academic year, the CDO hosts numerous career and professional development panels that expose students to various practice areas and types of legal work, trends in legal recruiting and employment, interview tips, professional networking and more. If you are interested in speaking on a panel, please email us at lawjobs@case.edu.
Hire a Student or Recent Graduate
One of the most effective ways you can partner with the CDO—and bring new talent into your office—is to hire a CWRU law student or graduate for an internship, externship, capstone or post-graduate job. Learn more about recruiting students.
