Application and Process
Applicants to the LLM degree program use the online application. Admission decisions are made on a rolling basis.
Deadlines
Admission is available for both fall and spring semesters. The deadline for the fall semester is April 1; the deadline for the spring semester is Oct. 15. Sometimes students can apply after the deadline; email the Office of Global Legal Studies to inquire, at llm-sjd@case.edu.
Required Documents
- Completed online application and personal statement.
- Copies of transcripts from all post-secondary educational institutions attended, with translations into English where applicable.
- A copy of official TOEFL, Duolingo or IELTS scores is required for all students whose native language is not English—except those with a degree from an institution where English is the language of instruction. Or submit an official copy of an ELS transcript showing successful completion of Level 111 or 112.
- Two letters of recommendation.
Application Review
Applications are reviewed in order of their receipt and completion. Therefore, applicants are encouraged to apply early.
