Becca Kendis, Esq., MSSA (she/her) is a staff attorney and lecturer at the Case Western Reserve University Reproductive Rights Law Initiative (RRLI). As a member of the RRLI team, Becca provides legal support to reproductive health care providers and advocacy organizations, conducts extensive legal research, analyzes legislation and engages in outreach and education efforts. She is currently litigating multiple challenges to abortion restrictions in Ohio in both federal and state courts.
Over the last decade, Becca has held roles at diverse organizations fighting for social justice and serving marginalized populations, including CWRU’s Human Trafficking Clinic, the ACLU of Ohio, Milestones Autism Resources and NARAL Pro-Choice Ohio. Becca holds a Juris Doctor degree and a Master of Social Science Administration, both from Case Western Reserve University, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Social Change and Activism from the University of Michigan. This interdisciplinary background ignited Becca’s passion for inter-professional collaboration and approaching advocacy through a creative and holistic lens, which she brings to her work with the RRLI.
