Stacy W. Fening currently serves as the interim director of licensing for Case Western Reserve University’s Technology Transfer Office (TTO). She has dedicated the past 16+ years to the TTO, focusing on contracts, licensing and technology management, particularly in the life sciences area. Before making the switch to technology transfer work, Fening was a research associate in Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine’s Department of Pathology. Prior to joining Case Western Reserve, she worked as a staff scientist, research and product development, at Diagnostic Hybrids, Inc., focusing on products for the clinical virology diagnostic market.
Stacy holds a PhD in biological sciences from Ohio University, where her research concentration was cell and molecular developmental neurobiology. She also received her MBA from Ohio University and BA in biology from Hiram College.
