Joy Hongman Chen has assisted the Technology Transfer Office (TTO) at Case Western Reserve University in managing the intellectual property (IP) and invention disclosure process procedure for more than 15 years.
Joy has helped the TTO executive director and licensing director streamline the office’s IP management and compliance policy. She’s worked with highly complex material—both legal and technical—and worked with inventors, legal counsels, research institutions, hospital systems and government agencies.
In addition, she is confident working with a sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment and handles multiple tasks while paying attention to details.
Joy has obtained legal education from the University of California and from Case Western Reserve University School of Law.
